The body carries the story of your life.
Welcome an opportunity to become more informed about your embodiment, therefore yourself.

Somatic Therapy
Somatic Therapy is a holistic, body-centered approach that honors the deep connection between the mind and body. It recognizes the body as a vital part of understanding and working through challenges such as overwhelming experiences, difficult emotions, stress, and the complexities of life. Overwhelming experiences can impact us deeply when they feel "too much, too fast, not enough, or for too long" for our nervous system to process. These experiences may leave us feeling disconnected — from ourselves, our bodies, and the world around us. This disconnection shapes how we experience our thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
In somatic therapy, we explore the body language through sensations, movements, and expressions. This process involves practices like mindfulness, breathwork, body-based techniques, creative expression, and the power of human connection. It’s a space to attune to the body’s wisdom and uncover the stories held within.
Somatic Therapy is about finding safety in the Body.
Through a somatic approach, we learn how to gently tune into our body’s sensations and restore balance to our nervous system. This creates a foundation for feeling safe and at home within ourselves. Somatic work allows us to navigate the full spectrum of human emotions—joy, anxiety, grief, anger, fear, and everything in between—in a way that feels grounded and authentic.
By welcoming, befriending, and becoming curious about our emotions, we can begin to understand the messages they carry. This practice invites us to embrace our experiences with compassion, deepen our connection to ourselves, and move forward with greater resilience and authenticity, clarity and strength.

my approach
My approach weaves together the principles of Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, yoga, breathwork, and parts work. Somatic Experiencing helps gently release stored stress and overwhelm, while Polyvagal Theory provides a framework for regulating the nervous system and fostering safety. Yoga and breathwork invite movement, balance, and presence, while parts work supports exploring and integrating different aspects of yourself. Together, these approaches create a dynamic and compassionate path for healing, growth, and reconnection.
